Today we’re looking for an Application Support Engineer (2nd/3rd line of support) - a person who'll vigorously support our Customer eXperience (CX) & Software Engineering teams in their never-ending quest to bring unparalleled value to both beauty salons & their demanding customers.


This person is expected to:

Requirements

Required (skills/knowledge):

  1. self-organized, able to navigate (according to clear priorities) in multi-team environment
  2. understanding of ITSM fundamentals
  3. hands-on familiarity with SQL (preferably PostgreSQL)
  4. software development fundamentals (preferably - past software development experience)
  5. MacOS/Linux/bash console fundamentals


Nice to have (skills/knowledge):

  1. familiar with Atlassian stack (JIRA/Confluence)
  2. familiar with Ruby/RoR ecosystem (rake, seeds, migrations, etc.)
  3. scripting (with a language of choice - preferably Ruby/Python)
  4. practical experience with Docker containers
  5. practical experience with cloud infrastructure (Heroku, AWS) & SaaS monitoring services (NewRelic, AppSignal, Sentry, LogEntries)
